Compass Hotel by Margaritaville Flagler Beach

I had a wonderful, peaceful weekend at the new Compass Margaritaville Hotel in Flagler Beach. The hotel was clean, quiet, and perfectly located right across from the beach. There are plenty of great local restaurants within walking distance, plus parking and a breakfast buffet included. I loved that breakfast doesn’t end until 10:30 a.m.! The two on-site restaurants were also excellent. My only suggestion would be to limit dogs on indoor furniture, as there was dog fur on some of the seating.

Cocktails and Appetizers on the Rooftop “Chill Bar” Miami was the best!!! He took care of the eight of us for “Ladies afternoon out”. Service was the best, food was terrific, cocktails incredible, views are outstanding. We will be back many times during our 3 month vacation in Flagler Beach, each year. Thank You Miami, for making our first visit to Compass Hotel so wonderful!

This is the best place to stay, especially if you have dogs. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are quiet. The showers are great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Their breakfasts, all made from scratch each morning, are included and offer a number of choices. The Salty Rim restaurant is very good and the best strawberry marguerita. We didn't make it to the roof top bar but it looks like fun. The pool is great and the beach is across the A1A from the hotel. There are a lot of places within walking distance too. I can't say enough good things about it. It's worth the visit

This was my 3rd stay and it was wonderful. Each time was for business. On my latest check out date, I was on a call while packing. Checked out at the desk and drove to my meeting. Within 2 minutes of the start of the meeting, I realized I wasn't wearing my wedding ring. I LEFT IT IN THE ROOM!!!! The sheer panic hit me and went outside to called the front desk. I reached John and told him my situation. He was calm and told me not to worry. He would reach out to housekeeping and call me ASAP. I could not answer when he called me back (within 20 minutes) but saw the voicemail pop up on my phone. It read "SUCCESS. WE HAVE IT IN HAND" ! Relief is an understatement. The level of customer service, loyalty to the brand and the sheer honesty to their customer, blew me away. Unfortunately, I did not get the housekeeper's name but what a power team! I will recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay anywhere near Flagler beach. Compass Hotels should be proud of the these 2 employees and recognize them for stepping up to the plate and retrieving something that could not be replaced. I am forever grateful.

I hesitated to stay because of the reviews about cleanliness, but I found it to be very clean in hallways, my room and lobby. I did not find that the walls were paper thin… the room itself was quiet however the hotel is on the corner of two main roads, and so there is car traffic noise at the pool, but it didn’t disturbed me when we were in the room. Definitely will stay again.

Good: Great location, good beds, nicely done and new. Nice rooftop bar serving appetizers. Good parking. We would stay again but choose a room away from pool and facing ocean or south. Bad: Thin walls - hear all hallway discussions, doors closing, and neighbors - bring a white noise source. Don't get a room facing the pool if you plan on being in your room from noon through happy hour (7 pm?). Speaker bass for hours coming through the walls or floor with dance music (not Jimmy Buffet, What the...?) like when that kid pulls up behind you at a light - buh, buh, buh, buh, bu bu bu bu, bu, buzzzzz buzzzzz, buh, buh, buh, buh..... One more day and I'd crack and tell them whatever they wanted to know. Had to keep the TV on to nap. Pool is also next to the road into town, and the Harleys line up on the other side of the pool wall (10 feet away, open slats for air flow) waiting for the light to change. Apparently half of them need to let everyone know they accessorized with a louder exhaust by rapping the exhaust a few times (c'mom guys, its computer controlled and fuel injected, and the factory cam isn't going to make it stall - you haven't needed to rev it since the early 80's). Other annoyance was Sunday morning at 8 in the breakfast area there's a guy with a microphone both for vocals and his acoustic guitar singing Parrot Head music. A little early, bruh. Hamtpon Inn typical breakfast.

Best bad experience. A good experience is when a bad event goes wrong but the staff makes a 100 percent effort to make your stay enjoyable. Allison and her staff did an amazing job of this. We arrived to the hotel when they had a total loss of ATT service. No way to confirm reservation, access elevators,our room,tv or any events. But they made it work and we had many laughs. Great job. You must stay here.

This is a really great brand new hotel right across from the beach you can see the ocean from the hotel this is in a great location The people are great what super super customer service. The breakfast is incredible hot food good coffee. And in the evening there's a rooftop lounge bar which is beautiful at night if you want to be up there you can see the stars you can feel the ocean breeze it's pretty great and the food that snacks at the bar are incredible in the tuna nachos are to die for. Not to mention the martinis were perfect.
